PEEK coatings are high-performance thermoplastic polymer coatings with excellent resistance to heat, chemicals, and mechanical strength.PEEK coatings are used in a wide range of industries, including medical, aerospace, automotive, electronics, and food processing.
Tire molds, shoe molds, ball molds, other rubber products molds, etc.
Reaction tank, storage tank, heat exchanger, stir bar, environmental engineering wastewater treatment equipment, pipe fittings, valves, pumps, etc.
All kinds of rollers, bearings, pump bodies, valve cores, EVA shoe materials, adhesive tapes, non-woven fabric production lines, etc.
Free oil lubricated parts, etc.
Semiconductor factory antistatic fireproof flue, printed circuit boards, electrical insulation, etc.
Baking ovens, all kinds of food processing machinery and parts, etc.
Rice cookers, electric irons, water heaters, microwave ovens, etc.
Gears, tools, all kinds of fasteners, mechanical parts, etc.
BW’s PEEK has been used, at least once, in Taiwan by shoe mold manufacturers in their molds.
As PEEK has properties such as strong adhesion to metal, wear resistance, etc. , the same is the case as with EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) used earlier.
As was adopted and used in the past with EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer) coating, the life of this product was noted to have been extended to 30 times.
has an ageing time 30 times longer than the EVA ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer coating used earlier. Previous to this it was coated with PTEE (polytetrafluoroethylene) but the adhesion was not very strong and it had to be recoated, on average, every day or two.
Previously PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) was also used but it had very poor adhesion characteristics and it had to be re-coated every one or two days on an average.
Sources from Japan also reveal that BW’s coatings have been PEEK Coatings used by a German metering equipment factory in the field of food processing electrostatic capacity-type liquid level meters to detect the insulation coating of the probe. That is, replace the traditional fluorine plastic with PEEK: This can enhance the stability of the measurement results, extending the product life of 20% ~ 50%. PEEK used in electrostatic detection probe of electrostatic volumetric liquid level meter.
Another Japanese news report mentioned that the BW’s PEEK Coating has been adopted by the
used in cellular phones. Similarly, the display and keypad of such a sliding cell phone are employed in a sliding
The display and keypad of this sort of sliding cell phone are employed in a sliding manner and so does the folding leaf, and it needs to have good sliding features. Earlier a poluimide material was used but there were issues with the strength of material.
However, there were issues of durability. Again, after adopting PEEK coating, the above desired result was realised or attained.
In practical application it has been found that the coating exhibits good scuffing, friction and abrasion properties, heat, adhesion, processability etc. Experiments revealed that even after 200,000 applications, the layer is able to preserve the initial friction; and in the economy can also lower production costs and at the same time conform to the RoHS standards.
The PEEK coating is beige in its natural state.
In addition, custom peek coating colors are available
Drying:The materials must be sufficiently dried, and drying hoppers shall be used during production.
Drying conditions: use an ordinary air-circulation oven and equipment to dry the hopper at a temperature of above 150℃ for 5 hours.

PEEK spraying process conditions
Spray a layer of polyether ether ketone powder coating uniformly on the surface of the sample plate by electrostatic spraying method.
Step 1: Melt at 380°C for 10 min to fully level the coating, and quench directly in an ice-water mixture to obtain an amorphous PEEK coating.
Step 2: then crystallize the amorphous coating at 260°C for 30 min to obtain a semi-crystalline coating.
Step 3: The average particle size of the PEEK powder obtained after crushing and sieving was 21.85 μm, and the particle size distribution showed a typical normal distribution with a narrower distribution, and the cumulative mass fractions of 3% and 97% corresponded to 2.47 and 74.80 μm, respectively, which were suitable for the preparation of PEEK coatings by the electrostatic spraying method.
Zhejiang Bw Industry invested 15 million yuan to build a new PEEK application technology research and development center, which has been put into use. With the help of this research and development center, our technical staff promises to provide peek coating:
