Raw Materials Property

PEEK (polyether ether ketone) is a new type of semi-crystalline aromatic thermoplastic engineering plastics, which was successfully developed by Imperial Chemical (ICI) in the late 1970s. The material possesses high levels of heat, radiation and corrosion resistance, as well as excellent dimensional stability and electrical properties, and outstanding processability, among many other advantages. As a result, PEEK is recognized as one of the world's highest-performance thermoplastic materials and is widely used in the defense and military industries, the aerospace industry, the electronics and information industry, energy development, processing and utilization, automotive manufacturing, home appliance production, and medical and health care."

High Temperature Performance
RTI/CUT can be used at a temperature of 260°C for a long time.
Low Temperature
-196°C, maintains room temperature toughness
Radiation Resistance
One of the most resistant polymers to gamma radiation, with a dose tolerance of up to 109 Rad.
High Strength
300 MPa tensile strength for short-cut carbon fiber, 2600 MPa for continuous fiber composites.
Fatigue resistance
Excellent fatigue resistance makes it an ideal structural strength material for use in aerospace, automotive and high speed rail applications.
Creep resistance
minimal deformation after 30 years of strength
Wear resistance:
One of the most wear-resistant polymers with a high PV value for use in oil-free lubrication applications
Chemical Resistance
Resistant to just about all chemical media except a few concentrated acids.
Electrical properties
high dielectric strength (196,000 V/milliampere), Dk/Df for 5G and 6G communication applications
Thermal stability
>60 minutes for high temperature operation
Excellent biocompatibility
Excellent biocompatibility and no side effects, compliant with ISO 10993 standard.
Combustion property
flame retardant, low smoke, and non-toxic; inherently flame retardant to V0, the lowest smoke density of any polymer, and produces only CO2 and H2O after combustion.
